About Us

Set in the foothills of the Coast Range, Buxton Hills Farm is an 80-acre historic homestead and small woodland. The naturally abundant land, originally the homeland of the Atfalatl and Kalapuya people, remains home to deer and elk, owls and hawks, newts and frogs, bobcats and coyotes. Since the early 1900s the farm has been home to the Genzers, Raffertys, Wilsons, Mitchells and now the Graves family. Along the way the families have grown strawberries, prunes, hazelnuts, dairy cows and Christmas trees.

Since 2015 we have cultivated the small woodland for recreation and wildlife, with an emphasis on sharing the land with friends and family to learn about forestry and farming while having fun. We partner with organizations that share our interests to celebrate the seasons and learn together about the plants and animals that call this place home.
